The East Cheyenne Fire Department has 30 members and provides fire
protection coverage to the eastern half of Cheyenne county. The
Cheyenne county Ambulance Service covers the 1900 square miles of
Cheyenne county. The ambulance service has two stations, Cheyenne
Wells and Kit Carson, and has 20 volunteers to provide medical care.
